Hi, I’m kristine
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Ottawa - Rockland, Ontario. My hair journey started in a salon when I was 12 years old as a shampoo girl. I took nursing in university and left my program to attend hair school. I missed doing hair so much! It’s my creative outlet and I feel so lucky to call this my career. Did I ever make the right choice!
I have a passion for hair education and my goal is to create effortless lived in, easy-care hair for my clients.
Helping others level-up truly brings me so much joy. My goal is to share my love for hair painting and to stay connected with my community (you’re my fam!)

I AM ONE OF THE VERY FEW SALONS IN OTTAWA WHO OFFER A ONE ON ONE APPROACH.
I work in my salon solo and I strictly only book 1 client at a time. That way I can tend to your every need. I strive for excellent customer service but also deliver a nice relaxing atmosphere. When you come to my shop, I take pride in my refreshment bar. It is fully stocked with many herbal teas, Nespresso, Local Micro brewery tasters, and my favourite wine samplers. I believe in clean water, as I use Glass refillable jugs with reverse osmosis.

My Journeys through life…
I traveled a ton in my 20’s. My goal was to reach 30 countries, 2 poles and 7 continents by the time I turned 30 and I made it happen!! I worked my butt off for it too.
For 11 years I worked well over 40 hours a week at a high end salon. On my nights off and weekends I stayed focused on growing my business. NOTHING got in my way. I was straight up hustlin’ everyday. I used to travel on average 12 weeks per year and it was a non-negotiable. I think a lot of people would be surprised to know of the adventures I’ve been on, and I’m excited to get to share more of that now!
MY WILDEST TRIP WAS DECIDING TO GO TO ANTARCTICA.
I couldn't convince anyone to come with me — so I went solo.
I was super scared. To earn your way of passage to Antarctica you have to cross the notorious Drake Passage — THE strongest body of water on earth. Listen to this…the waves can reach over 20 metres; that's 60 feet - google that…the average home is 10 meters tall for reference.
It was on that trip that I realized I could accomplish ANYTHING SOLO. I gained confidence, a sense of independence and I started embracing my sovereignty more than ever.

SILICONE FREE — Silicone builds up on your hair and over time can leave your hair lifeless and coated.
CRUELTY FREE — I DO NOT BELIEVE IN TESTING ON ANIMALS, PERIOD.
